NO CRYSTAL BALL

Usually, when the economy is up, so is the real estate
market. When the economy is down, people are usually reluctant to spend
money, especially on big purchases. Supply and demand also is usually
a good indicator. Astute Realtors know “usually” does not
mean “always.” No one can predict the market, but they can
read the signs to determine where the market might be headed. Consumer
confidence plays a role, as do interest rates and time of year. Winter
holidays are generally a good time to buy a house. When buyers get distracted,
sellers may be tempted to drop their asking price - especially if they’re
looking for a quick sale. Finding an agent whose expert advice you can
depend on is extremely important in any real estate transaction. For prompt
and professional help, talk to Marilyn Lacy at RE/MAX, The office is located
at 108 East Main, phone 719-395-9063.
